Ahmedabad : Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and CM Bhupendra Patel paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Ashram. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who is on his two-day visit to Gujarat visited the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. He paid floral tribute to the statue of Gandhiji in the premises of Gandhi Ashram. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Chief Secretary Raj Kumar were also present during this visit of Prime Minister of Australia to Gandhi Ashram. The Prime Minister of Australia visited Hriday Kunj, the residence of Mahatma Gandhiji and also demonstrated the spinning of the Charkha. The Prime Minister of Australia described his experience and feeling of visiting Gandhi Ashram in the visitors book. “It is a great honor to pay tribute to Pujya Gandhiji. His ethics and life values continue to inspire the world even today.We all have a lot to learn from Gandhiji’s values.” The leaders of the Sabarmati Ashram Trust welcomed and honored the Prime Minister of Australia by giving him a Gandhi charkha and a book and also provided him with various information regarding the ashram during his visit.
