Gandhinagar : Aurvedic & homeopathic medicines to be distributed across the state, decision taken in the core committee meeting. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has urged the Health Department and AYUSH Department to come up with comprehensive measures to win the battle against the global epidemic Corona virus, Kovid-19. For this purpose, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to order 60,000 kilograms of Ayurvedic medicines in Gujarat as well as 10 lakh doses of homeopathic medicines and distribute them across the state. Vijay Rupani has instructed AYUSH and the health system to procure these herbs at a regular core committee meeting chaired by the Chief Minister to review the transition control status of corona in the state. The AYUSH department has also given orders to get these drugs. Following the significant contribution of Ayurvedic medicines in boosting the immune system and many good results obtained from these medicines, the Chief Minister has shown his commitment to win the war against Corona by using Ayurveda-Homeopathic medicines in this second wave of Corona infection. According to the decision of the Chief Minister, the state government will get 29,700 kgs of Aurvedic boiled water, 30 thousand kgs of sansham vati and a total of 10 lakh doses of arsenic album-30 from various organizations.
As per the guidance given by the Chief Minister to strengthen the distribution system of these Ayurveda medicines up to the district-taluka and village level, a strategy has been formulated to distribute it to the masses through Talatis, Sarpanches, Asha workers and service organizations. In addition to treating patients infected with corona, the use of ayurvedic medicines to boost immunity in the human body has also increased as it has gained worldwide acceptance in boosting their immunity. In the first wave of Corona in Gujarat, with the guidance and inspiration of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, doses of arsenic album, 78000 kg of nectar drink and 85 thousand kg of sansham have been provided to 90 lakh families. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani with the commitment of “Harshe corona-Jitshe Gujarat” to win the war against Corona by increasing the immunity of the people through the use of Ayurveda herbs.
