Dahod : Beneficiaries of Dahod district had one to one talk with chief minister Vijay Rupani. At Jhalod in Dahod, CM VIjay Rupani had arrived to launch various developmental works of more than Rs 1,500 crore, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had a face-to-face meeting with the beneficiaries of some schemes of the state government and got details from them. When the Chief Minister first met Kalubhai Savjibhai Damor, a beneficiary of Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, Kalubhai said in his own distinctive style, “Sir, we are very relieved to get electricity during the day.” Now there is no fear of any animals. Chief Minister Rupani thanked him and asked for his well-being. Similarly, he met Chhaganbhai, who had a tea stall in Gadhi fort in Dahod, and asked him, “how are you here now after treatment for heart disease?” So Chhaganbhai said, it is very good. CM Rupani counter-questioned how much money had to be spent on treatment? So the answer was that not a single rupee. Chhaganbhai runs a tea stall at Gadi Fort in Dahod city. They used to earn enough to make a living by moving government offices and people around. Fifty-five-year-old Chhaganbhai has a family of seven, including his wife. As the children got older, they were also worried about getting married and raising a family. But anxiety does not solve any problem but creates a new problem. Something similar happened with Chhaganbhai. Once in the middle of the night he had a severe chest pain. He was admitted to Rhythm Hospital in Dahod.

But the cost for a definitive diagnosis of the disease was not affordable to Chhaganbhai’s family. Chhaganbhai’s family members were informed about the Mukhyamantri Amritam Yojana by the department of the hospital for providing various health related schemes to the state government at Rhythm Hospital and asked them to take advantage of this scheme. Chhaganbhai could not save enough money for the rest of his life but as he had taken out a card for Mukhyamantri Amruttam Yojana, all his reports, treatment, medicine etc. would have been borne by the state government. This was a big crisis for Chhaganbhai’s family but he did not face any financial crisis and Chhaganbhai was discharged after receiving intensive treatment at the hospital. It shows how this government is concerned about the people of villages and government is also concerned about their well being and upliftment also.
