Ahmedabad : Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani resigned today. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has resigned 15 months before the general election. The names of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Deputy Prime Minister Nitin Patel, President CR Patel and Union Minister Purushottam Rupala are at the forefront of the race for the country’s new Prime Minister. On this issue, Ex chief minister of Gujarat and veteran leader Shankarsinh Vaghela said the Narendra Modi government at the center had failed economically from Corona. He blames his failure on the chief Ministers of the government and removes them. In Gujarat, BJP National Organization Minister B.L Santosh arrived from Delhi early this morning. After returning from Delhi, he met the Chief Minister along with Union Minister and in-charge of Gujarat Bhupendra Yadav. Yadav and B.L. Santosh was accompanied by CM Vijay Rupani. The BJP assembly party meeting will be held on Sunday. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today tendered his resignation from the post of Chief Minister to Governor Acharya Devvarta at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.
For the past few days, there was speculation about a change of leadership in Gujarat. Union Home Minister Amit Shah suddenly reached Ahmedabad at around eight o’clock on Thursday night. There was no fixed schedule for his visit to Gujarat. State Home Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja, Mayor Kirit Parmar and Standing Committee Chairman Hitesh Barot had arrived to welcome Amit Shah at the airport. Although Amit Shah had reached his sister’s house on Thursday night, it was thought that he may have come for family work, but now it seems that he may have reached Gujarat only in connection with the change in power.
