India has come a long way and today at this juncture, we at CII foresee that while a lot has been done in these 78 years, a lot more needs to be done in the next 25 years. Industries have to gear up to increase the scale of production, to support exports to generate employment and make India the Golden Sparrow of the world again. This way, we will be able to achieve the target and dream set by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Vinod Agrawal, Past Chairman CII; Convenor Policy Advocacy EoDB & EA Panel
India as a country has endured a lot. While we got our freedom 75 years ago, our struggle had been on for over 200 years. Through the CIIs platform, the industry should pledge to do more in every field such as Services, Technology, Sustainable Development, Exports, Manufacturing, Textiles. It is only by walking shoulder to shoulder that we will be able to make India the number 1 economy in the world
