Gandhinagar : At CM Residence, ‘Mokla Man e’ program was held in the presence of CM Vijay Rupani. CM Vijay Rupani had a one to one talk with all the pastoralists of the Gujarat state. About 62 pastoralists from 20 districts across the state had participated in this program. In this program, CM interacted with all the pastoralists about their issues, about their facilities etc at CM residence…CM Rupani said, the Gujarat government is as sensitive to animals as it is to humans. More animals, more income is a sign of prosperity in today’s society. He further added that, the government is committed to increase milk production through Gir and Kankrej cow breeding schemes. In order to give priority to natural farming, the state government has given Rs. 900/ per month assistance.

CM Vijay Rupani said that, we are committed to solve the problems by interaction through ‘Mokla Man e’ program with various people who are associated with various business. Even in the lockdown the only milk business was going on so people got milk and the pastoralist business can be continued. As a result of the hard work of the pastoralists, India’s proud Amul brand has become a global identity today. Due to the hard work of the pastoralists and the cooperation of the government, Gujarat has become self-sufficient in milk products, earlier milk had to be imported while today Gujarat exports milk, milk products and milk powder, he added. In this program, the pastoralists presented their suggestions to the Chief Minister to make the various animal husbandry assistance provided by the state government and to make the animal husbandry business more prosperous. The program was attended by cattle breeders from various parts of Gujarat like, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Banaskantha, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Aravalli, Surat, Sabarkantha, Anand, Patan, Narmada, Bharuch, Junagadh, Kutch and Valsad.
