Gandhinagar : Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has made two important announcements in relation to the fighting the corona pandemic. The decision was taken at a core committee meeting held in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and Home Minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja. The Chief Minister announced that all the MLAs and ministers of the state would accept a 30% reduction in their wages every month till March 31, 2021, and pay this amount in expenditure against the corona epidemic. Vijay Rupani has also announced that the MLA grant of Rs. 1 million 50 lakh received to all the MLAs of the state will be utilized for one year i.e. till 31st March 2021 for the expenses incurred in the interest of the people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s central government will cut the salaries of the country’s MPs by 30% for two years, and that amount will be spent against the coroners and MPs. The Chief Minister added that the Gujarat government has also supported the decision to give the amount of the Lad Fund in the fund to fight the Corona for two years.
