Gandhinagar : A high level meeting was held in the presence of chief minister Vijay Rupani, Dy.CM Nitin Patel, Chief Secretary Anil Mukim and Health secretary Dr. Jayanti Ravi to review the health conditions in the Gujarat state. In this high level meeting, Principal Secretary Anil Mukim and Health Secretary Dr. Jayanti Ravi said that the state government has made some important decisions as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus in Gujarat. Schools and colleges in the state will remain closed for two weeks from tomorrow till 31st March, 2020, and no academic sessions will be held during this period. The board exams that are currently underway will remain unchanged. Advisories also published for other places in Gujarat. Public Swimming pools will also be closed in the state and all the theatres will remain closed. Government has taken decision that, now spitting in public places will be an offence and the person who will spit, will have to pay fine of Rs.500/-. The state government has also urged all religious organizations to not hold their gatherings for religious programs for the next two weeks.
