Astrology Desk : Women now form the majority of digital astrology users in India, according to a new study by iMeUsWe. The analysis shows that women account for 60.3% of users on the platform.
The report also highlights a strong presence of young users. Many women use digital astrology platforms to seek guidance on relationships, careers, and personal decisions.
Young Women Drive Astrology Engagement
The study finds that digital astrology users in India are female in majority cases and appx. 63% of female astrology users fall between 18 and 30 years of age. The 25–30 age group alone represents 41% of female users.
This life stage often includes major decisions about career paths, relationships, and marriage. Many young women use astrology as a structured reflection tool during these transitions.
Vivek Desai, Co-Founder and Chairman of iMeUsWe, said younger generations now approach traditional knowledge systems differently. He noted that astrology helps individuals reflect on life choices while connecting with family heritage.
Relationship Questions Lead Consultations
The analysis highlights clear consultation trends among women users. Relationship-related questions dominate digital astrology interactions.
Key consultation topics include:
- Marriage timing and compatibility – 42%
- Love and relationship issues – 28%
- Career and job stability – 14%
- Children and pregnancy – 7%
- Family or in-law conflicts – 5%
- Finance and property matters – 4%
Nearly 70% of consultations relate to marriage or relationships. The findings highlight astrology’s continued role in personal and family decision-making.
North and West India Show Strong Usage
Regional trends also emerged in the study. North India accounts for the highest share of consultations at 35.5%. West and Central India follow with 30.1%.
Together, these regions contribute 65.6% of total consultations. Eastern India records 17.7%, while South India contributes 13.9%.
Digital Platforms Reshape Traditional Practices
The study suggests that astrology engagement in India is evolving. Younger users increasingly access consultations through digital platforms.
Technology now connects traditional belief systems with personalized insights. This shift positions astrology as a structured guidance tool for modern life decisions.
