Gandhinagar : Offline classes for standard 6th to 8th to begin from 2nd September, 2021. Gujarat Government has decided to reopen schools in the state in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel. Offline classes for Std. 6th to 8th will begin from September 2nd, 2021 Thursday, said Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama. Detailing in on the decision Chudasama said that, state government has decided to resume classroom education with full vigilance so that the future of the students is not ruined and no student gets infected with corona.As a result of the effective work carried out by the State Government, corona cases are now steadily declining across the state. Keeping this in mind, GoG has decided to start offline classes for Std 6th to 8th with 50 percent capacity.Not only that, the student coming for education in the school classes will also have to bring the consent letter of his / her parents, who want to attend offline classes.Online education will also continue. Chudasama further added that strict instructions have been given to the students of Std. 6th to 8th to strictly follow Covid-19 S.O.P and Corona transition control guidelines. He added that proper social distance in the classrooms should be maintained, teachers-staff and students must wear masks. Over 32 lakh students will resume offline education from more than 30,000 government and private schools across the state.Schools must maintain adequate hand wash system in school premises/ sanitizer points in the institute as well as adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the government time to time.
