Gandhinagar : Online study of std. 1 to 9 will continue till 5th February. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to continue online classes of Std. 1 to 9 in entire state till 5th February, 2022. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the core committee chaired by the Chief Minister in the interest of the comprehensive health care of the students and children by conducting a comprehensive review of the transition status of the existing corona in the state. State Government Spokesperson and Education Minister Jitu Waghani, while giving brief about the decision of the Core Committee, said that only online education will continue in the classes of Std. 1 to 9 in the state till next 5th February. He said that the state government had earlier decided that Offline education of classes 1 to 9 will be discontinued till January 31. The decision was taken after a comprehensive review of the Corona transition period, which ends today. He also said that the state government would now review the situation on February 5 and take a proper decision on classroom teaching in schools. The core committee meeting was also attended by Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Rajkumar and senior secretaries.
