Bhavnagar : Post-cyclone situation reviewed by chief minister Vijay Rupani in Bhavnagar District. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani reached Padhiyarka village affected by “Tauktae” Cyclone & reviewed post-cyclone situation in Bhavnagar District.He said that there is no need to worry about the damage caused by the natural calamity, state government is with you in any disaster or adverse situation. He also visited Bhavnagar district today. Yesterday, the Chief Minister visited the affected villages of Jafrabad Rajula in Amreli and Una taluka in Gir Somnath. Today he had reached Padhiyarka village of Mahuva Taluka of Bhavnagar and interacted with the villagers and got the details of the damage caused by cyclone. CM also interacted with the village Sarpanch as well other panchayat member and got the details of the damage in the village and instructed to make an immediate survey. Around 20 houses have suffered minor and major damage and electric poles have also collapsed due to which power supply has affected. He urged the officials for immediate restoration of power supply in the village. A meeting was held with senior officials in Mahuva and detailed assessment of the situation was conducted. During the visit Minster of State Vibhavri Dave, MLA’s, District Development Officials, Chief Principal Secretary to CM K. Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Pankaj Kumar and district administration officials were also present.
