Ahmedabad : The mercury hit 44 degrees on saturday, which was the hottest day. There was a lot of heat coming out of the sky. The heat and fierce heat led to a curfew on the roads and markets. The weather will remain same in next 2-3 days also. Following the heat wave in Ahmedabad will become more acute in the coming days.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 44 degrees, minimum temperature was 23 degrees, humidity ratio was 65 percent, wind speed of 3.7 km per hour and direction was west to north west. The maximum temperatures dropped to 34 degrees, due to the clouds and also due to the western disturbances in the past week, which resulted in partial relief from the heat.
People were shocked by the heat wave after the mercury rose to 44 degrees on Saturday.
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature at 45 degree and the minimum temperature will reach 29 degrees tomorrow. During the week the sky will remain clear and the speed of the wind will be normal.
