Gandhinagar : Sabarmati University celebrated ‘Run for Tiranga’ event today under the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of Government of India. While the country is celebrating the Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav of the 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’. Today, tricolor echoes in every corner of the country and just as the three colors of the tricolor convey a message of bravery, peace and prosperity, the tricolor in every home under the Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav also conveys a unique message. As country is having a celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga festival from 13th to 15 August, 2022, people of the country are participating in a very enthusiastic manner. Today this tricolor is adorning every home. ‘Run for Tiranga’ was organized at Sabarmati University to promote the same campaign enthusiastically. Under the ‘Run for Tiranga’ program at Sabarmati University, the flag was first hoisted by University President Sunny Patel, Registrar Dr. Jyoti Srivastava and Dean-Academics Dr. Parashuram Dhaked and then the students of the University and every faculty member started the ‘Run for Tiranga’ by singing the National Anthem. Youth are country’s future and India is one of the countries which has most young generation and students knows the true patriotism towards country and their enthusiasm was at peak. Students of the university walked from the university holding tricolors to make the ‘Run for Tiranga’ program a success, demonstrating the youth power of independent India. The students graced the ‘Run for Tiranga’ program with tricolor in hand, singing heroic songs. Not only students but everyone including faculty members, admin staff of the university participated enthusiastically. On this occasion University President Sunny Patel, Registrar Dr. Jyoti Srivastava, Dean-Academics Dr. Parashuram Dhaked, CEO of the University Rajni Patel, teachers and students were present in large numbers and made the program a success.
