Ahmedabad : Recently leading news media organization of India had organized Sanman Puraskar 2020 at Ahmedabad. This prestigious award show was organized to facilitate the inspiring and successful figures and stalwarts of their respective fields and who have not only contributed to the state, but, also carved their presence across the nation and its boundaries. Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani was the chief guest and with him other eminent dignitaries were present. Other dignitaries like, Mr. Kishor Jhala (COO, GCMMF), Padms shri Bhikhudan Gadhvi (Folk Singer), Shri Raghuveer Chaudhari (Novelist), Dr. Arunbhai Dave (Managing Trustee, Lokbharti Education Trust), Shri Nilesh Mandlewala (Founder, Donate Life), Shri Nayan Mongia (Cricketer), Shri Parthiv Gohil (Singer), and Shri Kiran Kumar (Actor). Gujarat has earned the position of being most industrialized and developed states of India, yet, the people of Gujarat have preserved the rich culture and tradition of the state. Through this show, ABP Asmita celebrated the excellence of eminent personalities who have made their mark in various spheres such as Sports, Cinema, Music, Education, Culture, Social Service, Literature, and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Kishor Jhala receieved awards for the outstanding achievement of GCMMF in the field of dairy and milk production.
Padma Shri Bhikhudan Gadhvi got the ‘Sanman Puraskar award 2020’ for his highest contribution in the field of Indian Folk music.
Jnanpith awards receiver Mr. Raghuveer Chaudhary who is a novelist, poet and critic from Gujarat. He has authored more than 80 books and also served for many literary organisations.
Dr. Arunbhai Dave whose trust mission is to spread the flame-light of people oriented education to the poorest man of village, ushering sustainable development in accordance with the Nature and Culture of our country.
Mr. Nilesh Mandlewala is the Founder and President of a Donate Life, an NGO based in Surat, Gujarat. He has been working relentlessly to spread the word about organ donation since 2005. He has also been able to educate and spread awareness on Cadaver organ donation to more than 10 lac people. He was also one of the ‘Sanman Puraskar 2020 award receivers’
Cricketer Nayan Mongia is a former Indian cricketer. In 2004, he was named as a coach of Thailand national cricket team. He was coach for 2004 ACC Trophy in Malaysia.
Mr. Parthiv Gohil is a singer and he has also given his voice as a playback singer in films like Devdas, Saawariya, Vaada Raha and many others.
Gujarati and Hindi film actor Kiran Kumar also received the same award in this function.
