Parth Patel, Ahmedabad : Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the newly renovated Khadi Sardita, organized by the Saurashtra Constructive Committee in Ahmedabad, clearly stated that Khadi is not a dress-it is a thought. He said that Khadi has become the medium of employment generation in millions of families.
Speaking on the mantra of Khadi for Next Generation, chief minister said that Gandhi and Khadi can not be separated when Gandhiji’s birth anniversary is to celebrate the nation from October 2 this year.
In this context, he added that in today’s 150 years even Gandhi thought, Gandhi’s values are the same relent and present in today’s times. Gandhiji is still alive today.
Vijay Rupani said that today is the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. It is said that Gandhi, Lohia and Deendayalji have thought of the world being ruined between capitalism, imperialism, Gandhi idea, integration, humanism and socialism today.
