Gandhinagar : BJP has declared the names of 160 candidates for the first round in the Gujarat Assembly Elections. BJP parliamentary committee and high command held a meeting in new Delhi and they finalized 160 candidates for next elections. As per Bhupendra Yadav, 38 candidates has been changed and No repeat theory has been applied and BJP also have allocated tickets to 40 women. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be contesting from Ghatlodia seat where as health minister Rushikesh Patel will be contesting from Visnagar seat. BJP has given ticket to Hardik Patel from Viramgam and the former minister of BJP Shankar Chaudhary has been repeated and also got the ticket from Tharad seat. Home minister of Gujarat Harsh Sanghavi also got same seat of MAjura, Surat where as Dr. Darshita Shah got the ticket from Rajkot West seat which is considered very important as the former CM Vijay Rupani had won from the same seat. Amit Shah got the ticket from Ellisbridge at this time Rakesh Shah didn’t get ticket and BJP showed them exit doors from this assembly elections. 69 MLAs got ticket again means No Repeat Theory didnt work in these candidates. BJP has given ticket to Dr. Darshita Shah from Rajkot – west but at the same time congress leader Indranil Rajyaguru may get ticket from the same seat so, if he gets the entry from the Rajkot -west seat, it may be win-win situation for Congress.
Prradyumansinh Jadeja got ticket from Abdasa where the senior leader of Congress Shaktisinh Gohil had lost the elections. Where as Kiritsinh Rana got ticket from Limbdi and Vinu Moradia got ticket from Katargam seat of Surat. Babu Bokhiria will be contesting from Porbandar but on the other hand Congress has given ticket to former leader of opposition Arjun Modhvadia. Reevaba Jadeja will contest from Jamnagar – North. This time BJP has not given ticket to Hitu Kanodiya from Idar, seating minister Rajendra Trivedi from Ravpura – Vadodara, Brijesh Merja from Morbi etc…BJP has declared names of 84 candidates from 89 total seats. Many new faces will be seen in this election but here the question is, this attempt of BJP will be helpful for them?
