Gandhinagar : BJP Govt has transformed the city of Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has launched developmental works of Rs. 1078 cores for the betterment of the people of Ahmedabad. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the office bearers and officials of the Corporation for the gift of various development works for the townpeople and wished them all the best. Even in the corona period, BJP govt has launched developmental works of estimated of Rs. 2857 crores.Chief Minister said that in the last 25 years, the BJP government has transformed the city of Ahmedabad, an example of which is the Sabarmati Riverfront, which has given Ahmedabad, global recognition. He also said that the city of Ahmedabad has been at the forefront of the Ease of Doing business as well as Ease of Living. Referring to the performance of the government, the Chief Minister said that the mantra of our government is that if the contractors complete the work earlier than the time, there will be a bonus and if they do it after the time, there will be a penalty, so that the citizens do not face any problem. Gujarat has continued its journey in the corona transition period and that is why even during the Corona period, in the last four months, an estimated Rs. 17,000 crore development works have been e-launched.
The Chief Minister also lauded the work done by AMC during these difficult times in Corona and further said that good performance has also been noted by the Niti Aayog and WHO. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the beneficiaries of new housing and wished them for much progress. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani handed over housing projects worht Rs. 36 crores, Water projects worth Rs. 34 crores, garden projects worth Rs.9 crores,urban health center and hall renovation works worth Rs. 13 crores were e-launched.
