In the Gujarat assembly, BJP has 103 MLAs, while Congress has 73 MLAs. After voting for two candidates, the BJP will have an additional 29 votes for the third candidate. The BJP needs 7-8 votes to win. Two legislators from the NCP and the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) can support the BJP.
