Gandhinagar : Defeat corona in villages itself, said chief minister Vijay Rupani. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today talked with all the District Development Officers and CDHOs from Gandhinagar by video conference to stop the transition to defeat Corona in the village itself with the active cooperation of the village people’s committee and the district administration. A video conference of DDOs and CDHOs of all the districts was held today in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Minister of State for Panchayats JaydrathSinh Parmar to intensify the “My Village Corona Free Village” campaign which started on May 1. The Chief Minister said that the state government was moving in the right direction with a clear determination to defeat Corona. We have launched the “My Village Corona Free Village” campaign to suppress the corona transition in the village itself. For this, the members of the Council of Ministers and the secretaries in charge have also been given the responsibility to set up separate isolation centers in the villages of their districts. Which will make proper arrangements by visiting the villages on Saturday-Sunday.
He said that with the help of approximately 300 CHCs and 1500 PHCs in the state, we will be able to work in a team of village elders and youth in 15,000 gram panchayats coming under their area to liberate certain villages. Patients with fever, cold and cough in the village have to be isolated by the health team in the isolation center of the village. If the people of the village are treated in the village itself, the rate of infection in the city can be reduced and the burden on the hospital can be reduced. All the medicines required for this have been delivered to each CHC, PHC, which must be monitored by the DDO. The Chief Minister said that earlier in the first wave from Corona, the villagers had imposed a strict blockade so that the transition could be stopped. Only if this policy is repeated this time will we be able to win the war against Corona. At present, 3 to 4 per cent patients in the state recover and go home. “The DDO has to be concerned about prioritizing separate isolation centers for Corana patients in all the villages, only then will we be able to prevent the transition from one person to the rest of the household,” he said. The Chief Minister also made a clear suggestion to the DDO that if you visit the villages in your area on Saturday-Sunday and get a glimpse of the situation, the true situation will come to mind. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that like the successful model of Dhanvantari Rath against Corona in Gujarat, we will be able to give the right direction to the world to defeat Corona by making the “My Village Corona Free Village” campaign a success in the next 15 days.
