New Delhi : Denmark prime minister visited Garvi Gujarat Bhavan at New Delhi. The Prime Minister of Denmark Matte Frederiksen today visited the newly constructed Garvi Gujarat Bhavan in Delhi. The building was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in September 2019. The Prime Minister of Denmark visited the new building in New Delhi with the intention of introducing Gujarat, the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Gujarat government gave a traditional welcome to the Prime Minister of Denmark by organizing Garba and Dandiya ras with traditional Gujarati musicians at the new Bhavan in Delhi. As a woman, she took a keen interest in the Sakhi Mandal Yojana. This scheme was started during the tenure of the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi with the objective of women empowerment. The project was launched to empower poor women and especially women living in rural areas of Gujarat, to facilitate their access to various resources, thereby increasing their income and improving their standard of living. The Governor of Gujarat and the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat also briefed the Danish Prime Minister on the groundbreaking work done in the energy and water sector in the state during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya also briefed the Danish Prime Minister about the ongoing developments in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, including the Statue of Unity and Gujarat’s World Heritage Sites, the Dholera Investment Region, Gift City and solar and green energy. During the conversation with the Danish Prime Minister, Governor Acharya Devvart also informed him about the incentives being given to natural agriculture. Program organized. The Ambassador of Denmark to India, Chief of Protocol, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Resident Commissioner, Government of Gujarat and other senior diplomats of the Embassy were also present during Matte Frederiksen’s proud visit to Gujarat.
