Walia, Bharuch : Development will open doors of prosperity in tribal areas, said chief minister Vijay Rupani. Chief Minister inaugurated four more water supply schemes at an estimated cost of Rs 385 crores from Walia and said that Walia, Zagadia and Netrang talukas in the eastern part of Bharuch district would become paradise in the coming days. At a function held at Walia in Bharuch district, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani outlined the state government’s approach with the aim of “facilities where there is human beings”, in the name of all-round development of the tribal region. Congratulating all for organizing the program as per the guidelines of the state and central government during the “Corona” period and strictly following the rules, the Chief Minister said that the government was committed to accelerate economic activities with the motto of “Jaan Bhi, Aur Jahan Bhi”. Chief Minister Rupani had outlined a series of programs related to water supply over the last few days. He said that the government has developed a well-organized, time-bound, work-planning style of work by implementing a new methodology for the launch programs. Elaborating on the working style of past governments, the Chief Minister said that development is not possible without water and government is committed to solve the issue if drinking water. Continuing the tradition started by the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the present state government is giving away new source based schemes to the people by creating various schemes, he said, adding that the word “no source” has been removed from the files of water supply schemes.
Stating that the state government is working to provide “Nal Se Jal” to every household in Gujarat by the year 2022, the Chief Minister apprised them of the achievements made by the state government in works like Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, Anna Vitran Yojana, Vij Jodan Yojana. Stating that the state government has also undertaken the coordinated work of the Bhadbhoot scheme on the bank of Rewa. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani congratulated the people of Bharuch district for the efforts of the state government for the welfare of Gujarat.
