Umarpada : Doors of prosperity will open up in tribal areas, said chief minister Vijay Rupani. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the Rs. 711 crore Tapi-Karjan Link Pipeline Irrigation Scheme and expressed his commitment to make the tribal area a paradise with new opportunities for development. He also did e-Bhumi Poojan of Sainik School to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 crore. Irrigation scheme will provide irrigation facility to 53,700 acres of land in 73 villages of Umarpada-Dediyapada taluka. In a function held at Umarpada in Surat district, the Chief Minister said that the state government has implemented 10 irrigation schemes at a cost of Rs.3700 crore for the all round development of the tribal area. Which will open the doors of prosperity in the tribal area.
For the last two decades, the government has established a sound system of governance in the direction of using the money of the people for the welfare of the people, works for the public interest, and achieving the pinnacle of Mother India. With the modern technology, beneficiaries got amount directly in their bank account. Rs 3,000 crore for corona treatment, Rs. 3700 crore package has been given to farmers for rain damage. In addition, crores of rupees have been directly credited to farmers’ accounts under the ‘Saat Pagla’ Farmers Welfare Scheme. The Chief Minister said that the state government has been working with determination and transparency. Expressing commitment to the decision of the government for the development of Umarpada-Dediyapada taluka, the Chief Minister said that it was the intention of the state government to make the world a better place and move towards prosperity. Water is a priority for development.
In order to make Gujarat water rich, the state government has made arrangements to supply water to the farmers’ farms through schemes including Sujalam Sufalam, Sauni Yojana. The Chief Minister expressed his determination to provide higher education to Gujarat students with modern facilities and to make efforts to become a hub of education industries. He said that many of the challenges in building a society-state-nation are taken to empower the youth. Gujarat has become a world class university. There were 10 universities in Gujarat, now there are 70 universities. The program fully was complied with the government’s guideline of covid-19 along with social distance. Adequate masks, sanitizers were made available at the venue.
