Anand : Farmers have voiced their views on agricultural reforms, said CM Vijay Rupani. Today, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani addressed a joint farmers’ convention of Anand, Kheda, Vadodara and Chhota udepur districts at Karamsad in Anand district under the BJP’s Janjagaran Abhiyan on the historic and revolutionary agricultural reforms implemented by the Union government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The function was attended by state government minister Jaydrathsinh Parmar, MPs Devusinh Chauhan, Mitesh Patel, Gitaben Rathwa, assembly chief whip Pankaj Desai, MLAs, district BJP president and other office bearers of BJP and farmer leaders as well as farmers of the village. In his address, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said, “Opposition parties and anti-national elements, including the Congress, are trying to discredit Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular government with political malice in the name of farmers, as the saying goes.” Millions of farmers across the country, aware of their own interests, have voiced their views on agricultural reforms in the wake of the closure of India. “On the one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking various steps for the development, upliftment and doubling of the income of the country’s farmers, while some political parties and anti-farmer elements are throwing bones in the air for their own selfish ends,” Rupani said. For the Congress, it is not the interest of the farmers but the ‘Modi’ opposition that is the priority, while for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the interest of the country’s farmers and the poor is paramount. Today, the BJP government at the Center and the state is implementing a number of public welfare schemes which are directly benefiting the citizens. CM Rupani further added that, BJP governments work with the idea of ’Har Haath Ko Kaam, Har Khet Ko Pani’. The BJP believes that if the farmer is happy, the village is happy, if the village is happy, the city is happy, the whole state is happy with the progress of the village and the city. The BJP government is a government of farmers, the poor, the victims. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is a plan to deposit more than Rs 75,000 crore in the account every year. I am confident that the peasantry of the state will never allow the low-level political plans of the Congress to shoot the peasants of the state to succeed. Let us all come together and fulfill our responsibility by exposing the anti-farmer elements.
