Junagadh : Gujarat had a big day today as it got various gifts from central government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave major gifts of development for public welfare. while inaugurating the three major gifts in th form of important projects of health protection, farmer prosperity and tourism development in Gujarat, PM said that Gujarat has always shown exemplary commitment for the welfare of the common man. The Prime Minister said that the three projects unveiled today are in a way a symbol of strength, devotion and health. Gujarat has always been a land of extraordinary potential. Many people of the state have provided economic and social leadership to the country. Among the projects implemented today are the Rs 30 crore Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, Roe Way at Girnar and a state-of-the-art hospital for heart disease treatment of children at UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani from Junagadh and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel from UN Hospital at Ahmedabad joined the program. The Prime Minister said that after ‘Sujalam-Suflam’ and ‘Sauni’ schemes, ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ will prove to be a milestone in the development of the state. The ‘Suryodaya Yojana’ will establish a new height in the work being done in the state in the power sector for years.
The Prime Minister said that the farmers of Gujarat used to get electricity at night for irrigation at a time when they were facing many difficulties. In Junagadh-Saurashtra, when there was a problem of wild animals at night, under the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’, by providing electricity during the day, farmers will be able to work during the day. The Government of Gujarat deserves congratulations for this. Referring to the health sector of the state, Narendra Modi said that UN Mehta Hospital is providing excellent service and treatment in the health sector. The pediatric heart hospital, which opened today, will benefit many patients across the country in addition to the state. In 3 years, various health services have been started in the country. 21 lakh people have got benefits in Gujarat under Ayushyaman Yojana. The Prime Minister considered Junagadh and Girnar to be the center of faith for many devotees of the country. Thousands of devotees climb the steps to reach at the top of Girnar. Girnar has been overwhelming the visitors for years. Now it will be possible to climb the steps of the ropeway to reach at the top of Girnar in just 7-8 minutes. This is the fourth ropeway in the state after Ambaji, Pavagadh, Satpuda.
Participating in the inauguration ceremony from Junagadh, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that during the festival of Navaratri, three ambitious projects of Gujarat are being launched today through which the dreams of the Prime Minister of the state Narendra Modi have been embodied today. He said that Gujarat is reaping the benefits of state development. Gujarat has played a leading role in all sectors. Gujarat is moving in ten directions. Gujarat has the power to turn disaster into opportunity. Opponents of Gujarat have created many obstacles in the development of the state but Gujarat will never bow down, he said.
