Gandhinagar : Health Services Management Center (HSMC) inaugurated by chief minister. Monitoring of various national and state level health services in Gujarat including PMJAY and Maa Card has now become more robust and easy. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Health Services Management Center HSMC of the state Health and Family Welfare Department for this purpose. The Department of Health and Family Welfare has launched an innovative experiment to use technology in the health and well-being of citizens, needy families and individuals in the state. As a result of this service initiated by the Chief Minister, the benefits received by the beneficiaries of schemes like Pradhan Mantri Matruvandana Yojana, National Child Health Program, Pregnant Maternal and Child Care Protection Scheme will be monitored. Under this innovative service, under Early Childhood Development, pregnant mothers are to be counseled for maternal and child health services by making one call every month till delivery as well as one call every 3 months for two years of the child.
Bhupendra Patel inaugurated this innovative approach in healthcare services in the state in the presence of Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel and Senior Secretaries. These services will also include monitoring of Kasturba Nutrition Assistance Scheme, benefits received by the beneficiaries of Janani Shishu Suraksha program, quality of service etc. The HSMC will also monitor and review the free diagnostic treatment given to patients with high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer under the non-communicable disease diagnostic treatment camp in the state. The Chief Minister also launched the Gujarat Epidemic Response Management Information System Portal under the auspices of HSMC. The portal will monitor the availability of ventilators, oxygen beds and other general beds available in the state’s public and private Covid hospitals on a daily basis to make the information available to the public. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the launch of these services would play a pivotal role in making the health services available to the people in the state more robust and easy.
