On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd Ocotber, 2018, one program was organized by Regional Outreach Bureau, Government of India, Sushrut Seva Organization and Vishv- Our Responsibility. That program was celebration of Cleanliness Festival and Tree plantation. On this occasion, the program officer of Regional Outreach Bureau Mr. Kankshin Munshi gave information about Mahatma Gandhi and his thought on Cleanliness. At the end of the program, students had took a pledge, to keep their village clean and to plant more and more trees.
one very interesting information got from this place was, students were already aware about cleanliness campaign and they had started implementing it. The school is so clean as students don’t allow any kind of plastic in their school and even teachers and guests, who visit this school, also cooperate them in this initiative. On asking questions about Clean India Mission, Students were answering very quickly and they said that they watch television and they do read newspapers. It means that in this school, students don’t only study but they also learn lessons of cleanliness. Modasar Primary school is having more than 1000 trees and plants in their premise and it is just because of the hard work of schools students and teachers. In such school, students don’t allow anyone to carry plastic packets in the school premise to maintain cleanliness. It is the best example of proper awareness of Clean India Mission. This school is nominated at national level for cleanliness which is a proud moment for us, said Principal Mr. Pravin Makwana. School doesn’t get any monitory grant or help from government but still school is having all the basic maintained infrastructure for students.
