Flight of SpiceJet took off from Ahmedabad via Jammu to Srinagar. At the same time, when the government announced closure of some airports, the flight was taken off from Ahmedabad. When the flight reached Udaipur, the authorities instructed the pilot that Jammu and Srinagar airport was closed. So the flights were diverted to Ahmedabad Airport. Similarly, flight from Pune to Jammu was also passing through Ahmedabad at this time and it was instructed to the pilot to divert their flight to Ahmedabad.
