Nadabet : Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurates ‘Seema Darshan’ Project. Union Minister for Home and Co-operation Amit Shah inaugurated the ‘Seema Darshan Project’ (viewing point) at the Indo-Pak International Border at Nadabet in Suigam Taluka of Banaskantha District. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel joined on the occasion. On the occasion Shah greeted the people of the state on the eve of Ram Navamiand said that, we have been receiving inspiration since ages from the life of Lord Rama. I have the privilege to participate in the fair of Nadeshwari Mataji on the holy day of Chaitra Sud-9. Appreciating the bravery of the BSF personnel, the Home Minister said that the BSF personnel protect the nation even in minus 40 degrees to 50 degrees heat. They stand and guard for our safety in the desert thousands of kilometres away from the borders.BSF has always been at the forefront in the service of the nation with the slogan “Jeevan paryant kartavya”. Whenever there is a calamity in the nation, BSF personnel have done their best to serve the nation. Home Minister said that I salute the vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a ‘Seema Darshan Project’ has been constructed at Nadabet in Banaskantha district. The project will create new employment opportunities along with the development of tourism. He expressed optimism that over the next 10 years, millions of people in the region will get new employment opportunities. Banaskantha district would be the centre of attraction in the entire nation due to the Nadabet ‘Seema Darshan Project’. This Project has been started with the intention of giving the citizens of the nation a chance to experience the first-hand life style of the BSF personnel who are constantly on the lookout for the protection of nation as well as the life, duties and patriotism of the personnel. Detailing on the project Shah said that, all kinds of state-of-the-art facilities and special attractions have been developed for tourists at a cost of Rs. 125 crore under this project. The Tourism Department has undertaken various development works on the road from T-Junction, Zero Point and T-Junction to Zero Point for the development of Border Tourism.
Union Home Minister said that at the border with furniture and interior work 3 arrival plaza-rest area, parking, auditorium with seating capacity for 500 people, changing room, souvenir shop, 22 shops and restaurants, ‘Sarhadgatha’ exhibition center and museum, decorative lighting, Solar tree as well as solar rooftop facilities have been developed.In addition, retaining wall, BSF barracks and drinking water and toilet block facilities, parade ground with a capacity of 5000 people, exhibition center, parking facility, sound system, various activities for children to play, Stay facility for BSF personnel and a gate with special replica of border securityhas been added. Tourism Minister Purnesh Modi said that today it is a matter of pride for the whole of Gujarat that many projects of Border Tourism have been unveiled by the Tourism Department at the Indo-Pak International Border on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. The tourism sector will reach new heights with the success of this project by the Government of Gujarat promoting Border Tourism like Wildlife Tourism, Eco Tourism and Beach Tourism. He appealed to visit ‘Seema Darshan Project’ Nadabet to inculcate patriotic values in the children. On this occasion a parade and beating retreat ceremonies were organized by BSF personnel. At the same time, patriotic songs were performed by the famous singer Padma shri Kailash Kher.
