Entertainment Desk : Last Film Show wins ‘Dias De Cine award‘ in Spain. Chello Show, known under its Spanish title “La Ultima Pelicula” won the DIAS DE CINE Award for Best Picture at the RTVE Spain’s annual Cinema and TV Awards, which was held at the Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid. At this star-studded ceremony Spanish Distributor Daniel Bajo accepted the award on behalf of Pan Nalin and Chhello Show team. Last Film Show is the first Indian film to win this award. The Award ceremony was telecast live where Daniel Bajo addressed the packed hall brimming with Spanish celebs, “This is a great honor and unprecedented win for Pan Nalin, Dheer Momaya and Indian Cinema. We have successfully distributed earlier films of Pan Nalin in Spain, and with each new film, he adds new audiences to his Spanish fan base. La Ultima Pelicula is not only a movie but a major milestone in Indian Cinema, it speaks to everyone and that is the reason of its universal popularity.” The Spanish theatrical run of Last Film Show has been a big critical and commercial success in Spain where it was released last year.La Ultima Pelicula also won Golden Spike Award for the Best Picture at SEMINCI, 66th Valladolid International Film Festival. It was the first Indian film to win this award in 45 years.

After its successful theatrical run, Last Film Show has been acquired by Amazon Prime Spain, and its now streaming across the country where Chhello Show can be watched in its original version with subtitles or Spanish dubbed version. Last Film Show has been shortlisted for the Best International Feature at 95th Oscars, and it is produced by Dheer Momaya (Jugaad Motion Picture), Siddharth Roy Kapur (Roy Kapur Films), Marc Duale and Pan Nalin (Monsoon Films) in co-production with France’s Virginie Lacombe (Virginie Films) and Eric Dupont (Incognito films). Karma Films is the Spanish distributor. Last Film Show in now successfully playing in Japanese Cinemas, and Japan’s iconic 120-year-old studio, Shochiku is distributing the film. Also, full swing preparations are on for it’s Italian theatrical release with Medusa Film in March 2023.
