Bhuj (Kutch) : ‘Maskup Kunaria’ campaign to aware Kunaria village people. Governor Acharya Devvrat as well as Chief Minister Vijay Rupani have launched the ‘My Village corona Mukt Gaam’ campaign across the state since 1st May,2021. Then Kunaria village of Bhuj taluka has also carried out public awareness programs with the name of ‘Maskup Kunaria’ to free the entire village from corona in just 15 days. A team of three volunteers has been formed to create awareness among the villagers about corona. Who spread awareness among the villagers by shouting in the streets. On the other hand, tutorial videos have also been made to inform the youth on social media for vaccination registration. Apart from this, transportation has also been arranged with the help of donors to mobilize senior citizens above 60 years of age. In this regard, the Sarpanch of the village Sureshbhai Chhanga said that under the guidance of the health officials, we will make the village corona free by setting up an excellent facility for testing, tracing and treatment. For this, Kunaria group gram panchayat has come up with a strategy to make the entire village corona free in 15 days in the meeting of covid Response Team. Under which all the houses will be surveyed and the citizens with covid related symptoms will be admitted in covid care center.
Large banners have been put up for public awareness among the villagers as well as advertisements are being made in the temple mosque loudspeakers. There has been a partial lockdown in the village. People are prohibited from going out unnecessarily except for necessitiesbetween 8 and 10 in the morning and 5 to 6 in the evening. Apart from this, even if you have to go for very important work like to buy food, vegetables, milk or medicine, you are constantly instructed to keep the distance of at least 3 meters.
The body temperature of all those leaving the village and those coming from outside the village is measured and also recorded. With the cooperation of the people and the collective efforts of all the people, the Sarpanch is expressing confidence that the village of Kunaria will be free in the next 15 days.
