Gandhinagar : Mega campaign for covid vaccination in Gujarat will begin from tomorrow. To make covid vaccination more widespread, a state-wide vaccination mega-campaign will be held from Monday, June 21. Announcing this, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the Vaccination Campaign has been organized with the objective of making everyone aware of the need for vaccination and to vaccinate everyone. The vaccination festival will be celebrated on June 21 at 9.00 am in the presence of ministers, leaders, dignitaries at 1025 vaccination centres in 33 districts and 8 Municipal Corporation areas. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will participate in the vaccination festival at the Primary Health Centre, Sector-8, Gandhinagar. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing comprehensive and timely vaccination. He said that the Government of India has provided adequate supply of vaccines to all the citizens of Gujarat so that they can get the vaccines free of cost. The vaccine will be provided free of cost to citizens of all age groups in the state. The state government has also made adequate arrangements for vaccination of youth in the age group of 18 to 44 years. CM Rupani said that from 21st June, the youth would not have to register in advance for vaccination. From now on everyone will be able to get walk-in vaccines. He said that the number of vaccination booths in the state has also been increased to 5,000 so that the vaccine can be easily made available to every citizen in their neighborhoods. Gujarat is at the forefront of vaccination. Gujarat is leading in the country with 2 crore 20 lakh doses till June 20. Gujarat is a leader in vaccination of front-line warriors and people above the age of 44 years. Not only that, Gujarat ranks first in the vaccination ratio per million people. So far, 1,38,12,595 doses of vaccination have been given to citizens above 45 years of age in Gujarat. Healthcare workers and front-line warriors have been given 30,75,163 vaccine doses. CM Vijay Rupani said that vaccine is the only infallible weapon to fight against coronavirus. While experts and specialists are looking at the possibility of a third wave of coronavirus, our goal is to make as many people safe and secure as possible. And there is no cure for it other than vaccination.
In this mega campaign, Minister R. C. Faldu will visit vaccination centers in Jamnagar. While Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama will be present at the vaccination center of Saraswati School, Dholka, Kaushik Patel will participate at Shantinagar Primary Health Center in Old Vadaj area of Ahmedabad. Minister Ganpat Vasava will be present at Limodra Health Sub Center in Mangrol taluka of Surat district and then visit Tarsadi Urban Health Center. Minister Jayesh Radadia will join the celebrations at Sub District Hospital, Devbhoomi Dwarka. Minister DilipThakor will attend the Vaccination Center of School No. 2 in Harij, Patan District. Minister Ishwar Parmar will be present at Umrakh Primary Health Center in Bardoli, Surat district. Minister Kunwarjibhai Bawliya will take part in the celebrations at Jasdan CHC center. Minister Jawahar Chavda will be present at Sardarnagar PHC in Mendarda taluka of Junagadh district. Minister Bachubhai Khabad will attend Rachhwa PHC of Dhanpur taluka of Dahod district and will also visit Dahod Urban Hospital. Minister Jaydrathsinh Parmar will participate in the vaccination festival at Halol Vaccination Center in Panchmahal district. Minister Vasan Ahir will visit Dhanoti Primary Health Center in Bhuj taluka in Kutch. Minister Raman Patkar will visit Ghodiyada Vaccination Center in Umargam taluka of Valsad district. Minister Kumar Kanani will be present at the Community Hall in Sarthana, Surat District. Minister Yogesh Patel will attend Aatmiya Dham and Sports Complex Vaccination Center in Manjalpur, Vadodara, while Minister Dharmendrasinh Jadeja will participate in the celebrations at the Vaccination Center of Jamnagar Physiotherapy College.
