Ahmedabad: Indian AI company Innefu Labs has received significant appreciation from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for its AI-driven national and cyber security platforms deployed under the Ahmedabad Safe City initiative. During a recent official audit, the Ministry commended Innefu’s flagship products, Innsight and Prophecy, for their high-impact performance in Project Nirbhaya, launched in collaboration with L&T and PwC.
As part of the review, Innefu’s Gujarat team presented a full systems demonstration to the MHA evaluation committee, showcasing how both platforms support law enforcement with real-time intelligence, data correlation, and predictive policing.
The committee noted that the technology provides strong value to public safety operations and recommended wider deployment across additional locations.
The appreciation highlights Innefu Labs’ commitment to building scalable, future-ready security solutions aligned with the national security framework.
Under Project Nirbhaya, the platforms draw from eight major policing and government databases, integrating CCTNS, Dial 112, VAAHAN, E-Beatbook, criminal dossiers and unstructured intelligence inputs to deliver actionable insights. This enables agencies to forecast crime trends, identify vulnerable hotspots, track repeat offenders, and monitor behavioural patterns through extensive open-source intelligence.
Prophecy Alethia — Innefu’s advanced predictive policing system — has been central in improving situational awareness, analysing crime patterns and guiding resource allocation across districts.
Meanwhile, Innsight supports law enforcement and intelligence agencies by converting data from surface web, deep web and dark web sources, alongside multilingual social media platforms.
“This appreciation from the Ministry of Home Affairs reinforces our belief that India’s security ecosystem needs deeply innovative and operationally impactful technology. Mission Nirbhaya validates our vision of safer and smarter cities powered by intelligence-led policing.” – Tarun Wig, Co-founder & CEO, Innefu Labs
The appreciation by the Central Audit Team marks an important milestone for Innefu Labs in strengthening India’s national security architecture through AI-based surveillance and intelligence platforms.
