Porbandar : Mohan Se Mohan book and website of Kirti Mandir launched by chief minister Bhupendra Patel. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the ‘Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha’ on the birth anniversary of Gandhiji at Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi in Porbandar. In the Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel while paying homage to Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Clean India Movement and Swachh Bharat 2.0 as well as Amrut Mission 2.0 by realizing Gandhiji’s mantra of cleanliness in the country. In the launch of Amrut Mission 2.0 and Swachh Bharat Mission-2, this Gujarat of Gandhi will achieve new heights by leading Gujarat through sanitation and water power works – sustainable development. CM Bhupendra Patel launched book namely Mohan se Mohan and the web site of Kirti Mandir. Describing the achievement of Swaraj to Surajya Sankalp Siddhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make Gandhiji’s Gramotthan-Swachhta Mantra meaningful in the context of Gujarat, the Chief Minister said that sustainable sanitation, treatment of waste , Capacity building as well as making hygiene an instinct to expand in the form of a mass movement. Bhupendra Patel called upon every citizen of the state to make cleanliness a natural habit and keep Gujarat at the forefront in the second phase of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Under the Clean India program, under the ‘Clean India – Beautiful India’ nectar 2.0, underground sewerage works will be carried out in 21 nectar cities and water supply works in all the cities of the state till October 31 in every village, town and city of the state. Under Amrut 2.0 Mission, all urban local bodies (urban authorities) will be provided with tap water, houses in Amrut cities will be provided with sewage connections, reservoirs and wells will be renovated and water security, urban planning and market financing will be done. In the first phase of Amrut Mission, Gujarat is in the third position in the country and has completed important works at a cost of Rs. 2800 crore. 95 works have been completed to provide clean drinking water in 31 cities. As a result of these works, connections have been provided to one lakh seventy thousand households. The Chief Minister said that in the first phase under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ and ‘Amrut Mission’ have achieved great success. Teachers and singers of Porbandar government school performed Vaishnavajan, the favorite hymn of Gandhiji. The Chief Minister also visited the Haveli Mandir. Under Clean India, the Chief Minister also started a cleanliness rally from Porbandar. MP Rambhai Mokaria, MP Ramesh Dhaduk, MLA Babu Bokhiria, District BJP President Kirit Modhwadia, District Panchayat President Manju Karavadra, Nagarpalika President Sarju Karia, Collector Ashok Sharma and Range IG and other officials and leading students were present in the meeting.
