Gandhinagar : More 107 students of Gujarat returned from Ukraine today at Gandhinagar Circuit House. Education Minister Jitu Waghani welcomed the students in the courtyard of Gandhinagar with a bouquet of flowers. Today was also the birthday of two of the returning students. Both the students celebrated their birthday by cutting a cake with the Minister and other students returning from Ukraine. On the occasion, Education Minister Jitu Waghan said that Operation Ganga has been launched by the Government of India under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back Indian students studying in Ukraine in the current situation. Today, through Operation Ganga, 108 more students from Gujarat have been brought back to their homeland from the battlefield of Ukraine. He added that the Gujarat government is playing the role of mother and father for the students arriving at the Delhi-Mumbai airport in India returning from Ukraine. The state government led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is giving all the information to the parents of the students about when the students from Ukraine will arrive at Delhi-Mumbai airport, will arrive at Delhi-Mumbai airport and at what time they will arrive in Gujarat.
To build this streamlined network, the hardworking officers and employees of the government are faithfully performing their duty. As soon as the students and parents met at the circuit house in Gandhinagar today, they met each other and tears of joy were seen. The Minister interacted with the students returning from Ukraine. The students also said that the national flag of our country had become an identity for us in this difficult situation. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Bhai Modi thanked the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat for making it possible for us to return to Gujarat very quickly today.
