Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Gujarat had organized Manufacturing Conclave with the theme of “Manufacturing Excellence-from Tools to Transformation”. The main objective of such conclave to discuss the current and emerging trends in manufacturing sector which will provide bright future for the economic growth of the nation, The conclave brought together key speakers from varied sectors across to deliberate on emerging trends that will determine the future of manufacturing sector which is one of the sun rising sectors for the growth of Indian Economy. In such conclave, the esteemed speakers put focus mainly on AI Robotics technology, which is the future of the technology, Digital Twin Technology, Industrial internet of things, Design thinking for Manufacturing etc…

Sameer Prakash, Head Digital Enterprise Digital Industries Siemens Ltd deliberated on Digital Transformation in Manufacturing an Approach to Industry 4.0 with Digital Twin Technology and made a presentation on how can digital twin technology transform old factories and old techniques by precise simulation and validation of products, machines, lines and complete plants. Deliberating on the MSME that are working in the manufacturing industry Shri Vikas Gupta, IEDS Joint Director and Head of Office MSME-DFO Ahmedabad made a presentation on Govt. Support & Policies to make MSMEs growth oriented and deliberated on MSMEs Initiatives in the Pipeline by the Government that include – Udyam being linked to e-Shram portal, Formalization of informal sector – work in progress, Integration of Udyam with other portals, including for credit facilitation, Revamping of CGTMSE, Extension and expansion of ECLGS, Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance(RAMP) –Rs.6062 Cr. programme aims to improve market and credit access, strengthen institutions and governance at the centre and state levels, improve centre-state connections and partnership, resolve late payment difficulties, and Green MSMEs.
