Ambaji (Banaskantha) : No need to panic but safety is mandatory said CM Vijay Rupani. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani paid obeisance at the famous pilgrimage site of Ambaji today in the New Year and also performed and Pooja. After paying obeisance to Goddess Amba, the Chief Minister wished the people a Happy New Year. In a conversation with the media, CM said that he has prayed to Mataji to ensure the security, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state and the country. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that with the slight increase in the cases in transition period of Corona, all the arrangements have been made to ensure adequate and good access to health services to the people. As part of public safety and precaution, it has been decided to impose a weekend curfew in Ahmedabad on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken important decisions in the last two to three days to tackle the Corona transition. He urged people not to panic but to be careful and follow the guidelines. The Chief Minister urged people to wear masks and maintain social distance and cultivate habits like frequent hand washing with sanitizer or soap. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that keeping in view the interest of students’ education, Std. 9 to 12 and colleges were to be started from November 23, but considering the current situation, no school or college will be started now. Regarding the development of Ambaji, the Chief Minister said that the Ambaji Development Authority has been set up to enhance the grandeur of the Ambaji Temple and the facilities for pilgrims. On this occasion, Mrs. Anjaliben Rupani, MP Parbat Patel, MLA Shashikant Pandya, former Union Minister Haribhai Chaudhary, former Minister Keshaji Chauhan, Collector Anand Patel, District Development Officer Ajay Dahiya, S.P. Tarun Duggal, Asi. Collector Prashant Zilova, Ambaji Trust Administrator Sudhendrasinh Chavda were present.
