Dev Bhoomi Dwarka : Our state has favorable policy for FDI, said Chief Minister. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today laid the foundation stone of a petrochemical project of Nayara Energy at Vadinar in Devbhoomi Dwarka district. He said that Gujarat is number one in the country in foreign direct investment due to its favorable policy and incentive schemes. He made it clear that under the inspiration and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat is moving ahead with all round development. Foreign investment is coming to Gujarat with the mantra of “Collective efforts, Inclusive Growth”.The Chief Minister called upon the industrial groups including Nayara Energy to provide more employment to the local youth.Stating that Gujarat is leading the way in realizing the dream of a self-reliant India, the Chief Minister invited the entrepreneurs to join Vibrant Gujarat.The Chief Minister congratulated all the employees, including the Chairman of the company, for the petrochemicals project of Nayara Energy. On the occasion, Union Minister for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Urban and Housing Hardeep Singh Puri said that petrochemicals sector has made a significant contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5 trillion-dollar economy abhiyan. Concerted efforts are made to realize the dream of a self-reliant India.Talking about the development taking place in India even in the Corona epidemic, the Union Minister congratulated the Nayara Energy project. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Raghavji Patel said that due to proper policies and incentives of the government, Gujarat, which is leading in the field of agriculture, has now become number one in the field of industry as well.
On this occasion, MP Poonam Madam said that this is a program that touches not only Nayara but the entire area.The government is providing a conducive environment for foreign investors.The project will provide employment to many people as well as move the whole area towards prosperity and development. Welcoming the dignitaries, including the Chief Minister, at the program, Tony Fountain, Chairman, Nayara Energy, said that India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and Gujarat is extremely beneficial for doing business within India.We are grateful to the state and central government for supporting our business. 500 hand washing stations are going to be started by Nayara Energy under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. As a part of which the stations of two villages of the district were inaugurated by the Chief Minister. CM also inspected the C.S.R activity on this occasion. Cheque of Rs. 1.25 crore was handed over to the Chief Minister by the social leader Bhikhubhai Vadher to Samarpan Hospital of Jamnagar. Company’s CEO Dr. Alois Virag thanked and said that today’s event is the best example of a prosperous state-vibrant Gujarat. It is worth to mention here that, according to the MoU signed under Vibrant Gujarat 2019, Devbhoomi is constructing 450 KTPA petrochemicals project of Nayara Energy in Dwarka district.The project will be completed at a cost of Rs. 6,500 crore and will provide employment to about 4,000 people. On this occasion MLA Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, Chairman of Village Housing Board Mulubhai Bera, Devbhoomi Dwarka District Panchayat President Rajiben Mori, Jamnagar District Panchayat President Dharamshi Chaniyara, Khimjibhai Jogal remained present.
