Patan : Oxygen, Remedesivir, Adequate beds are available everywhere, said CM in a press conference at Patan. In view of the way in which the transition is increasing across the state during the second wave of Corona, effective planning is being done by the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani across the state. The Chief Minister further said that arrangements have been made to test 5000 corona daily in Patan district to prevent the transmission of corona. In addition, in areas where positive cases have been reported, the containment zone will be extended and instructions have been given to the concerned to strictly adhere to the containment zone. He said that adequate amount of remdesivir injection is available in government hospitals. The Chief Minister said that from April 1 to 10, the government has supplied 1,80,000 remdesivir injections to pharmacists across the state and the state government has distributed 1,05,000 remdesivir injections as well as adequate supply of Oxygen to government hospitals. In just ten days, the state government has provided more than 2.50 lakh Ramdesivir injections. Cadila has resumed sale of Remdesivir injection in Ahmedabad from today.He said that more than 50,000 remdesivir injections have been arranged in Ahmedabad while 25-25 thousand remedicivir injections have been arranged in Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat and the state government has ordered 3 lakh remdesivir injections to meet its further need. Today, Gujarat has become the first state in India to provide the highest number of remedial injections. The Chief Minister said that only those people who need injections should buy Remdesivir injections so that we can be vigilant, so that there is no shortage without any reason. The Chief Minister appealed to the people not to go out of the house without work, to wear masks and to observe social distance when the transition to corona is on the rise.
The Chief Minister said that while this second wave of corona is growing with high numbers all over India, the transmission of corona has also increased in Gujarat. The state government has taken effective measures to curb this transition. Emphasizing on testing, tracing and treatment of corona, the Chief Minister clarified that a new machine has been provided for testing corona in Patan district. Which will now get the RTPCR test report in just six hours. He added that arrangements including oxygen, Remdesivir injection and adequate beds have been set up across the state including Patan and efforts have been made on a war footing. In the last ten days, the state government has set up 15,000 new beds across the state to provide treatment to the people. The state government has issued orders to the concerned to ensure that patients get treatment even in private hospitals. Arrangements have also been made across the state to provide treatment to the infected at Covid Health Center. The Chief Minister said that those who are undergoing treatment at home in isolation are being provided medicines and treatment by the state government at home. Congratulating the charitable organizations of Patan, the Chief Minister said that various charitable organizations of the district have started Covid Care Center for the patients with mild symptoms of corona and have made very good arrangements.
