Jeet Dholakia, Ahmedabad : In the campaign to fight the coronavirus, the countrymen had demonstrated solidarity by lighting candles, diyas, mobile phones by lighting the lights of the houses for 9 minutes at 9 pm on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The countrymen took a pledge that it can be defeated by following the rules with solidarity. Exact at 9.00 pm every house got to such a scene when everyone light the lights of their houses and light the candles. 
CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani also light the diya at CM residence with his wife Anjali Rupani at 9.00 pm. Prime Minister Modi had requested people on Friday to extinguish the lights of their homes for nine minutes on April 5 at 9 pm and flash candles, lamps or mobile phones to demonstrate the country’s ‘collective resolve’ to defeat it. The Prime Minister had said, “Corona’s crisis is to be challenged on Sunday, April 5. He has to introduce the power of light. This five April is to awaken the superpower of 130 crore countrymen. On Sunday, April 5, I want 9 minutes of you all on Sunday nights. Stand in the balcony of the house and light a candle, flashlight, lamp or mobile flash light. Turn off all the lights of the house that day. When every person lights one lamp all around, then you will feel that superpower of light.
