Ahmedabad : Shaheri Jan Sukhakari Divas inaugurated by CM in Ahmedabad. On the occasion of the successful completion of five years of good governance of the state government under the leadership of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani & Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, the eight day of celebration of “Panch Varsh Apni Sarkarna- Sauna Sath Sauna Vikasna”, has been observed as “Shaheri Jan Sukhakari Divas”. To mark the celebration of “Shaheri Jan Shukhakari Divas” CM Rupani dedicates and lays foundation stones of various developmental works of public welfare. He commences 471 developmental works worth Rs. 5001 crores from Ahmedabad. Under celebration of “Shaheri Jan Shukhakari Divas” program for public welfare were organised at 41 places across the state. CM Rupani laid foundation stone of 247 developmental works worth Rs. 3839.94 crores and dedicated 224 works of worth Rs. 1161.18 crores from the state level function was held in Ahmedabad. After been elected our government has come up with various public service, public welfare and public interest works. The celebration of this successful completion of five years of good governance of the state government and people’s cooperation in that shows that with what transparency we have served the people of the state. We have created a bridge between government and people and have made them realize like the government of their own.
Chief Minister stressed on the fact that the development of towns and metros in the state is taking place with timely planning and transparency. He also made some important announcements on this occasion. Announcing this, he said, “We have taken this revolutionary decision keeping in view the multi-pronged approach to accelerate industrial development in the state, create more jobs and increase economic prosperity.”Industrial parks approved under the Industrial Policy which are included in the Board of Authority will now be deducted at 25 per cent instead of 40 per cent. CM Rupani said that on this 15 percent land authority may specify for green cover, green plantations, public gardens, playgrounds, markets, milk dairies, recreation, restaurants, housing for the economically weaker sections as per the requirement. CM also announced to approve the final notification of Navsari Urban Development Authority Board and Becharaji City Development Map. He said that the state has approved more than 450 TP schemes in the last five years with full transparency and not a single city development map is pending for final notification. Rupani also launched the “e-Nagar” mobile applicationto make citizen centric services easily available to the citizens sitting at home. Addressing on the occasion, Minister of State for Home Department Pradipsinh Jadeja said that Gujarat has achieved many dimensions in the field of urban development, the credit for which goes to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the occasion Ahmedabad Mayor Kiritbhai Parmar, Chairman of Gujarat Municipal Finance Board DhansukhbhaiBhanderi, MP Kirit Solanki, Hasmukhbhai Patel, Former Mayor Amitabhai Shah, Chief Secretary Shri Anil Mukim, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary to Urban Development Secretary MukeshPuri, Secretary Lochan Shehra, Ahmedabad Commissioner Mukesh Kumar, Gandhinagar Commissioner Dhaval Patel, Municipal Commissioner Beniwal, District Collector Sandeep Sagle and District Development Officer Anil Dhamelia were present.
