Ahmedabad : Silence is not an option in BJP rule said Congress leader Kapil Sibal. Congress leader and former Union Minister Kapil Sibal was on a visit of Ahmedabad to attend a function on Saturday. He also highlighted the need for change in Congress in a press conference here. He also said he did not know if the party was ready to change or not, but could raise his voice. Sibal also pointed to the Modi government and said peace and silence is not an option in the BJP law. It could mean that you are involved in these atrocities. Sibal, one of the leaders of the G-23 faction, said of the ongoing crisis in Congress that he could express his feelings. He doesn’t know if the team is ready for change. Regarding the statement of the Minister of Finance P. Chidambaram, Sibal said, “He is a dear partner, I do not want to comment on his tweet.” All I can say is that when I think of Modi’s political regime, I do not consider peace to be a safe haven. The former Union Minister said this was not the time for peace. If you silently fight against the evils of the Mode government, you will also be considered to be involved in it.

Chidambaram had tweeted on September 30 that “I find myself helpless when we cannot initiate meaningful dialogue on the party stage and when we see Congress workers shouting slogans outside the house of a colleague and MP.” Chidambaram made this tweet regarding the sloganeering of Congress workers outside Sibal’s house in Delhi. When asked about the G-23 group, Sibal said that there is no such group, the media calls it G-23. There are some people who want internal changes in the Congress. We have already mentioned what these changes are, there is no need to repeat them.
