Gandhinagar : State govt. will provide assistance to the entrepreneurs and investors. With the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which started with the vision and efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 10th edition of this summit is going to be held in January next year. The Summit will further the global story of progress and success of a self-reliant India from a self-reliant Gujarat. In the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Industry Jagdish Vishwakarma, before the commencement of the 10th series of this Vibrant Summit establishing Gujarat as a Global Destination for Investment, the state govt. on Monday in collaboration with various industry houses and organizations for various proposed investments in various sectors. Additional Chief Secretary of Industry Department Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta had exchanged these MOUs with the concerned industrialists. In the tradition of the State Department of Industry and Mines to start MOUs for proposed investments in various sectors on the first day of every week in the form of Vibrant Summit, so far about 40 MOUs have been signed.
Among the 37 MOUs signed this Monday in the presence of Bhupendra Patel are Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Pharma Intermediate, E-Waste Recycling Project, Industrial and Apparel Park Development, Production of Pipe and Agrochemicals, EV Charging Network, Toys.
Apart from the industry sector, five strategic MoUs were also signed for the education sector in the presence of the Chief Minister. Such strategic MOUs included the Student Exchange Program in the field of Technical Education, the MOU of Technical Support for Veterinary College, the Student Internship in the field of De-addiction and Human Health, the Toy Hub at Children’s University Education. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on this occasion that all the industry-investors who have signed this MOU will get a conducive environment in Gujarat and a global opportunity to develop trade and industry business. He added that the state government was ready to provide necessary assistance and cooperation for the timely implementation of the MOUs in the sectors under which these proposed investments were made. On the occasion of the MOU exchange, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Kailasanathan, Principal Secretary for Education Haider as well as senior officials including the Industry Commissioner and managers and representatives of the industry houses who signed the MOU were also present.
