Gandhinagar : State level Samvedna Divas to be celebrated in Rajkot. On the occasion of the completion of five years of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, various programs of public welfare and public interest are being held across the state under “Five years of our government, development for all together”. In place of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, State level ‘Samvedana Divas’ will be celebrated on 3rd August at Rajkot. Under ‘Samvedana Divas’, in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Ishwar Parmar in Rajkot, 3 service bridge programs will be organized in talukas, municipalities and corporations for easy access to documents of various public welfare schemes. Apart from this, 4 service bridge programs will be organized in 6 talukas and 12 municipalities of the state as well as at the municipal level in one ward per zone. The Chief Minister will celebrate his 65th birthday on 2nd August by organizing various service functions in his hometown Rajkot. The Chief Minister will plant trees at 9.30 am on August 2 and conclude various development works, after which he will participate in the state level Samvedna Divas program to be held at Dharmendrasinhji College at 11.00 am. After the program, the Chief Minister will have a meal with the foster parents and children.
The Chief Minister will visit Pujit Rupani Trust at 2 pm and talk to the disabled children. He will participate in the program organized by Rajkot Police at 3.00 pm and Swaminarayan Mandir at 4.00 pm. The Chief Minister will meet MPs, MLAs and activists at the BJP office in Rajkot at 5.00 pm, after which he will participate in a kit distribution program at Pramukh Swami Mandir, Rajkot at 6.00 pm. In the programs including Sevasetu organized on the occasion of Samvedana Day across the state, various benefits will be given to small, common class, poor, deprived people, the disabled, the elderly and destitute orphans who have lost their parents in Corona. 1.18 crore assistance will also be provided. A joint venture between the Department of Social Welfare and JM Financial Group for the children of parents who died during the Corona period will launch a scheme to assist in education. Various schemes of the State Government will be provided for foster parents, the disabled, widows and the elderly. It is not a celebration of the completion of five years but the various development works done in the public interest during this five years of good governance, public offerings, distribution of benefit assistance and various public interest works will be made public through such programs. These public interest oriented programs are being organized by the state government to accelerate the uninterrupted development journey of the state through various programs across the state to expand the scope of various public interest oriented flagship schemes on the occasion of five years of good governance. Rajkot mayor, MP, MLAs, officials and other leaders will be present on this occasion.
