Ahmedabad : Election fever is at peak in Gujarat and this time on 23rd April, Gujarat will vote for their respective candidates. Election commission has issued various notices for the candidates as well as for the voters of the country. According to the Election Program issued by the Election Commission of India for the Lok Sabha General Election-2019.
Election commission has given information on various documents which will be considered valid at the time of voting. This are the list of documents which a voter should carry with him/her at the time of voting.
Valid Documents :
(1) Voter Photo Identification Card
(2) PAN card
(3) Central / State Government, Public Undertakings, Public Limit Identity card with companies given to their employees from companies
(4) Driving License
(5) Passbook with photo provided by Bank and Post Office
(6) Job Card under MGNREGA
(7) Smart card provided under the Ministry of Labor
(8) Passport
(9) Health Insurance Smart Card provided under the Ministry of Labor Health Insurance
(10) Photograph document with photograph
(11) Voter voting can be done by presenting one of the documentary evidence of photo-documentary evidence, such as weekly credentials issued to Members of Parliament / Legislators / Legislative Assembly
(12) Other support Cards.
When a photo water slip, given to the voter, is for guidance only, it can not be used as a proof of identity.
