Ahmedabad : Vidyapeeth provides understanding of life oriented education said, Governor Acharya Devvrat. Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat while addressing the students during his first visit to the center located at Sadra village after assuming the post of Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapeeth said that Gujarat Vidyapeeth equips students with subject knowledge and life-oriented education. The Governor called the education of community life of Vidyapeeth important with the goal of rural development. The Governor told the students to learn continuously throughout their life, that the whole world is a storehouse of knowledge before a person who is a lifelong learner. He exhorted the students to shun despondency and inferiority complex to acquire merit through strong will and hard work for continuous development. He said, the men of history have achieved success through excellent karma by living ordinary lives of struggle.
He urged the students to read biographies of great men and get inspiration for a successful life. The Governor said that by adopting the basic virtues of Indian culture such as truth, non-violence, non-violence, asteya, Gandhi inspired the countrymen to adopt this Mahavrat. On this occasion, the Governor also expressed the hope that every student of Gujarat Vidyapeeth should adopt the Gandhian philosophy and become active for the development of the village and the development of the nation and achieve the goal of life. During his first visit to the complex at Sadra village of Gujarat Vidyapeeth, the Governor inspected the Biogas Research Center and Department of Microbiology, Mahadev Desai Gram Seva Complex and Department of Physical Education here. The Governor observed the yoga-asana and exercise skills presented by the students of Physical Education Department. He interacted with the postgraduate students of microbiology about the teaching and research facilities available here. He also visited the library and cow-school here. On this occasion, Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith Dr. Rajendra Khimani and heads of various departments were also present and presented the details.
