Here in Itanagar he inaugurated the Doni Polo Airport. It is the first greenfield airport in the state. Apart from this, the PM also dedicated the 600 MW Meng hydroelectric power station to the nation. The Kameng Hydroelectric Project has been developed at a cost of over Rs 8,450 crore over an area of 80 km in West Kameng district. During this, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that it was our dream to have an airport in the capital of our state. Today, with the efforts of PM Modi, that dream has come true. He had given special directions for the construction of this airport. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the people in Itanagar. He said that you know that we have brought a work culture, where we inaugurate the projects for which we have laid the foundation stone. The era of stalling, hanging, wandering is gone. PM Modi said that whenever I come to Arunachal, I take with me a new zeal, energy and enthusiasm. There is never apathy and despair on the faces of the people of Arunachal, what is discipline? It is visible here in every person and house. He said that the foundation stone of this airport was laid in February 2019 and I got this good fortune. We have brought such a work culture, whose foundation stone we lay, we also inaugurate it. The time to hang, hang and wander is gone. Be it culture or agriculture, commerce or connectivity, the Northeast gets top priority, not the last.
