Gandhinagar : Govt. is vigilant and situation is under control, said chief minister Vijay Rupani. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has made it clear that the government is committed to curbing the transmission of corona in the state. Not only does the transition take place at least, but the beds, doctors, medicines and equipments are fully arranged so that the infected can get immediate intensive treatment. “We want the infected to recover as soon as possible and go home,” he said. The Chief Minister said that the health and safety of the people is the priority of the government and govt. is vigilant for that. CM Vijay Rupani said that the talk of re-lockdown or night curfew in the state is just a rumor. He said that the current night curfew in the four metros of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot will be continued. The Chief Minister urged the citizens of the state to adhere to the SOP, use mandatory masks, maintain social distance, avoid congestion and be vigilant to prevent the spread of Corona.

Stating that there is no need for anyone to have false fears or panic, the Chief Minister said that the government is fully aware and the situation is under control. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, however, said that if the prevalence of the transition increases or the situation worsens, the state government will take appropriate action keeping in view the health and safety of the people. The Chief Minister also said that work is being done as per the master plan-action plan prepared by the government for Corona’s transition control and treatment facilities. Giving details of the corona vaccine to the media, he said that the third human trial of this vaccine is underway. More than a thousand people are working in Gujarat. The Chief Minister also gave details of the recent Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a video conference with the Chief Ministers of the states and giving advice and consultations on the distribution of Corona vaccine. He said that the Government of India is also considering making the vaccine available to the public as soon as possible and as transparently as possible. Vijay Rupani said that there will probably be four stages for the distribution of this vaccine. The first stage will cover frontline warriors i.e. doctors, paramedical staff, health staff, hospital staff etc. The second stage will cover Corona Warriors i.e. Cleaners, Revenue, Policemen etc. The third stage will cover people above 50 years of age who are more prone to Corona infection and the fourth stage will treat people below 50 years of age but suffering from co-morbid i.e. other diseases.
