Gandhinagar : Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has said that the State Government, which has been involved in the interest of the employees, has made a number of beneficial decisions. As part of which, the State Government has decided to increase the wages of employees working on contract basis under the National Health Mission. With this increase, employees will get a salary increase of Rs.1,500 to Rs.5000 per month, due to which the state government will incur an annual increase of approximately Rs. 34 crores.

Deputy Chief Minister said that the State Government has taken these important decisions by taking the same work, uniform pay and presentation for the remuneration. This benefit will benefit more than 1400 employees of more than 90 different departments, including AYUSH doctors, councilors, staffers and family health workers, pharmacists, supervisors, lab technicians, x-ray technicians, T.B. heller visitors and executive staff.
He added that the decision of this government taken by the state government will be given to the employees with the awards from April 1, 2012.
