Gandhinagar : All Health units can now treat corona patients in Gujarat, CM Vijay Rupani has given the permission or the same. In view of the growing number of corona patients in Gujarat, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has asked Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, Principal Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan, Health Secretary Dr. Jayanti Ravi in the meeting of the core committee held in the presence of high officials, very important decisions have been taken. Announcing these decisions, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that doctors of all health units like, private hospitals, clinics, dispensaries and nursing homes in the state of Gujarat will be able to treat Corona patients in their own hospitals. Next date The state government has given permission to all private hospitals, clinics and nursing homes to treat Covid patients till June 15. They don’t need to have any kind of permission to treat Corona patients and will have to report the matter to the Collector or Municipal Commissioner. Announcing another important decision, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the state government has set aside Rs. 2.5 lakh, monthly for medical officers, Rs. 1.5 lakh, monthly for doctors, Rs. 50 thousand, monthly for AYUSH doctors and homeopathy doctors, Rs. 35 thousand for Junior Pharmacist / Lab Technician / X-Ray Technician and ECG. Monthly Rs. 15 thousand will be given to class 4 employees. It has been decided to make a new appointment for 6 months.

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that around 15th March 2021, all the hospitals in Gujarat had 41,000 beds for corona patients. The number of beds has been increased to about 78 thousand today. But due to the increasing cases, this system is also becoming inadequate. Taking into account the whole situation, it has been decided in the core committee meeting that doctors from all private hospitals, clinics and nursing homes in the state will be able to treat Corona patients in their own hospitals. In view of the current situation, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has appealed to the personnel of various cadres of medical and paramedical to join the efforts of the state government in the service of patients as soon as possible. He said that in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state, the state government has announced the appointment of doctors, nursing staff and paramedical staff in government hospitals to better serve the patients. Vijay Rupani said that medical officers, dental doctors, AYUSH doctors, homeopathy doctors as well as junior pharmacist / lab technician / X-ray technician and ECG. Technicians are being recruited with attractive honorarium. Similarly, medical, nursing, pharmacist, lab-tech and class-4 staff serving honorary service in government hospitals will be given more incentive pay for the next three months.
